Carlmont Parents Nursery School is committed to the philosophy and practice of play-based developmental education. This foundation fosters a life-long love of learning.
The children’s program at CPNS is designed to provide a gradual and smooth transition into formal education. Our children learn through guided exploration and experimentation. When this takes place in a safe and loving environment the discoveries are boundless.
CPNS is that place - a warm, safe environment full of developmentally appropriate activities where our children can explore and learn at their own pace.
CPNS offers 3 core programs: 2, 3, and 4 day per week multi-age classes. We also offer an optional Pre-K program for children who are age eligible for Kindergarten the following September and enrolled in our 4 day-a-week core program.
Most years, CPNS also offers Summer Camp, which follows the same philosophy as our school year programs with a schedule and format that is designed to maximize the wonderful summer weather and our fantastic outdoor facility.
